Black Health continues to serve their communities by giving out masks, free education materials on COVID-19, and speaking to people about their fears around Coronavirus. Today we highlight three organizations founded by Black healthcare workers that have significantly impacted the trajectory of the COVID-19 pandemic in a positive way.īlack Coalition Against Covid, provides trustworthy, reliable, and science-based information about the COVID pandemic to minority communities nationally. She enjoys going on walks with her family and going to the beach. She is married with two boys (10 and 7), 3 dogs, 2 cats and a turtle. When Erin is not at ZoomCare she loves to hang out with her family and animals. I can't imagine having any other job to fill my days". I love the coworkers that I get to interact with every day. I love meeting my patients each day and learning something new every single day.
When asked what inspires Erin most about her work she says, "I really love medicine and I love to learn. She lived the longest in Maryland and went to PA school in Scranton PA (yes, like in The Office 😉). Erin has worked for ZoomCare for 8 years!
